New Orleans firefighters battled a three-alarm fire in the French Quarter Thursday night.
Crews found heavy fire coming from a wood-framed, brick facade structure on Dauphine Street.
Firefighters discovered the building was being used as utility purposes, parking, workshop, and
storage for the Olivier Hotel just across the street, fire officials said.
Additional alarms brought additional personnel to the scene as there were adjoining exposures to protect.
There were no firefighter or civilian injuries reported and the cause of the fire is
under investigation.
